James Reinhardt started his sculpture path at age 8 in an adult jewelry class. The ability to cut and join metal was fascinating and continued into a love of metal creations. At the art / architecture hub of Arcosanti in Arizona James had his first job welding metal for projects on the site and was hooked. Later at the Rhode Island School of Design, he discovered Industrial Design and was drawn to the lathes and milling machines. Since graduating in 2004, he has always stayed in the metal working world making flame sculptures for Burning Man, fire festivals in Telluride and sculpture shows in Seattle. He now owns Pacific Architectural Metals, a shop in Georgetown building all sorts of metal creations.
